Need help with Lab View and Wireless Data Acquisition

Im planning on aquring data wirelessly for a project and was wondering if anyone knew if the following will work with Labview:

If it doesn't can anyone suggest a good wireless data acquisition device that won't give me problems with labview

They don't seem to specify a protocol for talking to their device, nor do they seem to provide drivers for any software other than their own.

I suggest you talk to them and see if you can get either of these. If you can, then you could probably use LabVIEW to talk to this.

As for finding other devices, I suggest you try searching for "wireless DAQ" here and in the Info LabVIEW archives and see what you can find.

Hi Darren870,

Another good resource is www.ni.com/wsn - it lists 3 different wireless sensor networks and links to their LabVIEW drivers. The drivers allow you to program the devices with LabVIEW, and include example programs.
