NI website link to set sbRIO time settings

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

Can anyone send me the NI link to set the sbRIO's time settings. I have trouble setting the time of the logged data (data is logging onto sbRIO's memory) to the PC time. I have even set the time accordingly in MAX.

Does your sbRIO have a battery for the real-time clock?

Some of the sbRIO boards don't have one (look for a watch battery slot) and as such you need to create a daughter card using the RMC connector to provide battery power to the clock otherwise it will reset on power loss.

Normally I think you get to the web configuration just by putting the IP address of the device into the browser but that depends on the configuration. You can also right click on it in MAX click 'web configuration'. You can also set the date/time on the device programmatically using the NI System Configuration VIs.
