Hi,
I am using an NI USB 7856R RSeries Multifunction RIO. When I try to compile & write into the Device, the following error message pops up (even before the compilation)
"The selected target requires 64-bit Xilinx tools, but the system uses a 32-bit OS"
My system specifications are
Processor = Intel i5
OS = Windows 7 (32 bit)
NI Xilinx Compiler 14.4
As I can see from the MAX, the device is properly installed. Is there any way to get around this problem without using a 64-bit system ?

Hi Harish,
Unfortunately there is no way around this. The USB 7856R uses a Kintex7 FPGA which requires a 64 bit version of the compilation tools. I provided a link below that shows this as a note down at the bottom of the page.

This doesn’t mean that you need to add the compile tools to your machine. Do you have a spare machine that you can put Windows 7 64 bit on? Does a colleague have a machine that you can compile on? If you do then you can install the compilation tools on a different machine then you can target the compilation to occur on that machine.

You can also evaluate the compile cloud which will perform all the compilations on our server. Currently this service is not free but will at least get you going on some compilations.
