NI-RIO (Hex 0xFFFF0930) The selected bitfile requires ...

New to cRio, using CRio9066, but keep getting this error when running a simple VI (read one input, write one output)

I've downloaded all the software to the cRIO (even did a format and load all the software again using ni max), but still get this issue.

What am I doing wrong ?

I was able to find the link below - it says it's specific to the 9075/9076 when using the 9802 C-Series module, but the error is identical to yours, so it's probably worth looking through it.

Hey morngoose,

It's not obvious why you are getting that error, since it certainly looks like all the necessary software in installed.

Have you tried compiling a hybrid mode bitfile to see if that works? http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/0DB7FEF37C26AF85862575C400531690 has some information on building hybrid mode bitfiles if you are unfamiliar. Once you have the bitfile, try opening it with the Open FPGA Interface node to see what happens.

Can you ssh to the target? If so I'd be interested in the result of "lsmod" and "ls /dev/ni".

Sebastian
