Measure peak level and crest factor of a sine wave, sound and vibration tool kit

Hi,

I'm trying to build a vi that measure vibrations and thus started using a simulated sine wave to make sure everything is running correctly before using the vi to do actual measurements.

When I apply the human weighting filter (ISO-2631 compliant) the peak levels of the weighted signal is slightly off, the RMS levels on the other hand are correct. Doing the same thing without the weighting filter returns the correct values. Also plotting the signal after the weighting filter show the correct peak level meaning the signal is weighted correctly.

Does anyone know how to solve this issure?

I attached the vi I've been using below.

Mattias,

Would you be able to provide additional information at which point are you experiencing the problem. I ran your VI and for me evetyhing looks fine.  What do you mean by the "signal is slightly off" ?

I also noticed there is a coercion dot at the scaled signals input that might also be a reason for the discrepancy.

Best regards,

Mihnea
