Hi,
We have an optimization script in a script node in Labview 2012, 32 bit version. This script works fine with Matlab 2011b, 32 bit version. Both Labview and Matlab are running in Windows XP 32 bit.
Now we try to run the same script on a Windows 7 64 bit machine with Matlab 2011b, 64 bit version, Labview version is still 2012, 32 bit, and the script does not work. It does not even launch the Matlab command window. The error is 1047.
Does anyone know if Labview 2012 32 bit version has known incompatibity with windows 7 64 bit and or matlab 64 bit ?
Thanks

I'm using LabVIEW 2012 32 bit with Windows 7 64 bit with MATLAB 2012 32 bit without any issues.
I know that the Mathscript nodes in LabVIEW only work in 32 bit mode, the same may apply to MATLAB.

Thanks...
So the problem is Matlab 64 bits.
Now if I have Matlab 32 and 64 bit both installed on the Windows 7 computer, how does Labview select which Matlab to launch. Can I configure this in Labview anywhere.
The reason I am asking is that I now have installed Matlab 32 bits on the same computer, but the Labview still gives error. My guess is because Labview is still trying to launch the 64 bit Matlab. But this is just a guess.
Best,
Saumil

Have you tried either of these?
