MFC42.DLL with LabView 7.1 RunTime installer

Hello everybody,

since we've upgraded to LabView 7.1, we experience some problems with an external application (written in VisualBasic).
It suggests that there is something wrong with mfc42.dll
We can start the external application itself from within LabView, but the application itself can't be started anymore from the Windows Start Menu itself.

The strange thing is that while checking the LabView Runtime installers (MSI), there is something weird with the version numbers of mfc42.dll:

The MSI-installer of LVRuntimeEngine6.1 (and 7.0 as well) contains version 6.0.8665.0
while the LVRuntimeEngine7.1MSI contains version 6.0.8447.0, which looks to be an older version.
After the installation of Runtime engine 7.1, the system folder still has the latest version of mfc42.dll (6.0.8665.0),
so the newer version isn't overwritten during the installation.

Does anyone has an idea why the RuntimeEngine-installer7.1 contain an older version of this dll?
