Solved!

I know it's possible to load all of the subvi into the sub-panel, however, is iti possible to load a pane, or an individuall graph of a sub-vi into the main vi's subpanel?

Hi rsmrostov,

the function is named subPANEL so it loads the PANEL of the subVI…

No, you cannot load a single pane or graph into the subpanel container!

so basically I have two options:

load the whole sub-vi and hide the controls and indicators I don't want visible (make them invisible)

or output the graph string to another subvi having the necessarily displays and load that subvi into the subpanel?

Hi rmsrostov,

3rd option:

place the graph on the FP of the subVI so it is the only control/indicator you can see in the subpanel container. (Hide scrollbars…)

In the first message you wrote:

So do you or don't you know?

I think you can stop focusing on the "sub", just put any VI into a subpanel. You can just put a VI into a subpanel, nothing else.

Your problem might just be to redesign your initial VI to also have a sub panel that includes a VI showing only your graph, that VI you will be able to put it into any subpanel of different VIs.
