Hi

I work with Agilent E4980a.

When I use AgilentE4980a Agilent E4980 measurement.vi example I have following Errors.

Error -1074000000 occurred at Agilent E4980.lvlib:Error Query.vi

Possible reason(s):

Instrument reports:
-109,"Missing parameters"
+0,"No error"

Complete call chain:
     Agilent E4980.lvlib:Error Query.vi
     Agilent E4980.lvlib:configure list sweep.vi
     Agilent E4980 measurement.vi

Would you please help me?

Thank you

Just to make things clear. We got a new PC on which we directly installed 2011. Then we run the project under 2011. Sure enough there was a lot of saving at the beginning as 2011 was recompiling the Vis. Being said, I doubt we need to mass compile the project yet I will give it a try and see if it works and update you with the result.

Thanks all for your help

P.S for the E4980,  I guess you choose the wrong thread for your Q 🙂

I Guess the highlighted phrase from the manual Billco linked is more of an understatment in your caseSmiley Wink

Definitely I can recommend to mass compile everything.

Also when you have your project open, hitting Ctrl + Shift + S (Save All) forces to save it to the new file format.

Last resort is pressing the start button while holding Ctrl + Shift.

Hi all,

I did the mass compilation but unfortunately it did not help. Whatever is happening seems to be more complicated that it looks. It turn out our institute have the the LabView 2012. I will try upgrading, hopefully this will make things better.

Again thanks a lot for your help
