Labview UI Question

Hi Guys:

     i have two question about LV ui design:

Referring to application build by LV :

1 How to hide the menu bar in runing mode

2 How to change to title, i mean , usually the title of the application window is "xxx.vi " , can i change it?

Hello,

While building exe we generally use main VI as Startup VI

Open this VI goto VI properties, goto Windows Appearance and select Dialog option.

And in the same window you have option "SAME AS VI NAME" , uncheck that option and give the name which you want to have when program is running.

To only hide the menu bar and keep the other properties the same you can click on the Customize button in the Window Appearance window, then uncheck show menu bar and you can also do this programmatically through VI server using the Show Menu Bar property.
