Summary:
Trison operates fuel cell test stands which perform automated testing
of components by controlling and monitoring pressures, flows,
temperatures, and current. The project engineering group customizes
these stands in response to the ever-changing needs of researchers. We
also design equipment for specialized on-site testing. Most of the
equipment is PC controlled using LabView code in a Windows environment.

The Senior Labview Engineer develops and modifies control software for
these test stands. Attention to detail is required in a fast-paced
multitasking research environment.

Position Responsibilities:
- Develop control concepts to meet testing
requirements
- Write and debug control software
- Work with electrical and mechanical engineers to
integrate systems
- Verify system operation and document
installation
- Communicate project progress to customers and
management
- Assist Maintenance to debug and repair equipment
- Share expertise with software team in weekly
code reviews
- Suggest improvements to existing equipment and
processes

Position Requirements:
- 4 year Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
degree
- Extensive experience writing LabView
applications for machine control
- National Instrument data acquisition hardware
experience: PXI, SCXI, Fieldpoint, DAQ
- Access, VBA, AutoCad experience desired

Salary: $50-70K based on experience.

You probably did not notice that you are responding to a job opening from 2006. My wild guess is that a lot of things have changed since then. 😄

 

I would recommend to look in this forum instead for more opportunities.
