LabView FPGA, morph-ic-II

Your comment does not make any sense to me. Nothing on that link is related to a com port.

Never mind. I looked up the component. Serial has nothing to do with that ic and LabVIEW fpga had nothing to do with it either. As mentioned, you can only use LabVIEW foga with NI hardware.

On the website of FTDI chip, i download on this page : http://www.ftdichip.com/Products/Modules/DevelopmentModules.htm, labview applications for this component. How can you said that we can just use LabVIEW FPGA with NI hardware ?

Hi Cbernard,

I don't see any LabVIEW applications on that website…

In the Morph-Ic-II FPGA section of this page, you can find Morph-IC-II Examples and Utilities that contain a LabView Folder

Hi CBernard,

ah, it hidden very well…

From a quick glance I guess it's just a LOADER type application to transfer program files made by some other tool (or tool chain) to your MORPH device!

I CANNOT see anything dealing with direct access of your MORPH i/o pins…

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi CBernard,

create your MORPH executable using that other toolchain and transfer it to your MORPH device…

To repeat again:

- LabVIEW RT and LabVIEW FPGA is only working with NI hardware.

- When you use 3rd party hardware you have to use the software provided by the 3rd party manufacturer…

Best regards,
GerdW
