LabVIEW report generation in Excel

Hi Friends,

I have a problem with the report genberation VIs.

On my PC, i have developed a tool that uses report generation VIs. i saved it as an LLB.

I copied the LLB to another PC running with the same setup, and tried to run the LLB.

I faced a problem that the report is not even opened. I get the following error...

Error Code: 7

Error Source: Open VI Reference in New Report.vi

Is this a bug? Else, please help me with providing the solution.

are the same Excel Versions installed?

Hi,

If you look in to Report generation VIs,most of them them are dynamicaly loaded,from the location where the VIs are installed.When you make llb of these vis and try to open them,these dynamic path changes.so don't include these VIs in llb,just open your program on other machine and let report generation VIs load from original location.
