LabVIEW installation on a memory stick

Whats the status of this issue these days ? Anybody succeded in installing LabVIEW on a USB memory stick, making it possible to make sure nobody else can program in LabVIEW on that computer but you. Even though a lot of files is of cource also in the C-disk on the computer, having to install a lot in the registry etc etc.

is the reason for your question that you want to move from PC to PC with a single license or is it (as indicated) a "security feature that only you can use LV installed on a 'golden stick'"?

The first one is a license activation/EULA (NI sales model) discussion, the later one can be achieved by using VLA with personal licenses.

EDIT: Haven't checked on this, but maybe a personalized single seat license is already sufficient without the need of a VLA......

If you're referring to a security dongle type solution then I would suggest you to check this Swedish NI partner called WireFlow. They have designed a security dongle for LabVIEW.
