LabVIEW Speech Recognition using Neural Network System

Hi guys,

I see some posts here discussing voice recognition. But, I want to know if there are some of you who have avaliable VIs that cater Neural Network system in LabVIEW which can be used for speech/voice reognition?

I was unable to locate subVIs or examples using Neural networks similar to the voice recognition examples in one of the previous threads you posted in. However I was able to locate a well documented example of using LabVIEW for Voice Signal Analysis that could be a great start for you. In addition I've found a great resource for implementing a neural network in LabVIEW.  I was also able to locate and actual Neural Network Learner, but he VIs are for LabVIEW version 4.1 so you'd more than likely have to submit them for an upconversion request on the last forum link I've also included.  I hope you find these resources useful!

So this leads to those questions:

Why do we (as users) have to ask other users to upconvert examples provided by NI?

Why does NI provide examples that aren't able to load on recent LabVIEW versions?

Why doesn't NI respond to questions/comments given in the linked example, where it was asked for an upconversion of the example (already two and three years ago)?

Why is NI not able to scan it's web server for outdated examples?

Why there is no trainee at NI who is given the job to upconvert old examples to a more recent LabVIEW version?

As an AE you should be able to answer all this...

Hi Isaac,

Thanks for this, I'll try to read all of these ASAP.
Actually, I found a VI using SOM algorithm. I just can't understand some parts of it. Coz of this, I can't start with my whole program.
I'll try to post the VI ASAP for yout to glance on, thanks.

I found the circuit helpful in our project. there are some subVIs where I cannot find the VIs inside. Thanks
