LabVIEW Report Generation in Excel Issue

I'm using the report generation toolkit in LabVIEW 2009 to generate graphs in Excel from data gathered from a DAQ.  My problem is that the graphs created will sometimes appear blank on the spreadsheet, but you can view it if you double click on the blank graph.  When the VI works correctly, the graph is shown next to the table of data.  How do I keep the VI consistent to produce a visible graph every time without having to double click on it?  Is this a Excel issue or LabVIEW issue?  Has anyone else experienced this with the report generation in LabVIEW?  Thanks for any help.

I've encountered this a number of times.  To my knowledge it is an Excel bug, and I don't know of a reasonable workaround.  I have noticed that it doesn't appear to happen as much with newer versions of Excel, but it still does happen.

Thanks, I suspected that it was an Excel bug.
