LabVIEW 2014 Installation Virus Warnings

I have downloaded the LV2014 installation package from the NI website.  During installation, avast has flagged two files as suspicious (Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]).  They are:

uspEasy.dll

niauth.dll

I suspect these are false positives, but am curious if others are seeing the same problem.

LOL maybe that's why installers recommend disabling the AV before installing.  😉

These DLLs are not viruses. If you disable the anti-virus during installation, then LabVIEW will successfully install. You can re-enable the anti-virus software after installation is complete.

Now, THAT is a alias that needs an explaination given the context.

Jeff,

Are you thinking of a bacterial disease? Anti-virus would not work.
