LVCompare Tortoise Svn Bad Reports

In a nutshell "Reports do not contain any images!".

I have been wanting to generate reports from previous versions of vi's stored in my svn. I set up my TortoiseSVN according to the guide here:

http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361H-01/lvhowto/configlvcomp_thirdparty/

The compare function works great.

However when i generate reports I expect the images to be displayed as well. and I end up with missing images in my xml file:

<funcChanges detailDesc="" diffType="objects added/deleted" imagePath1="" imagePath2="" objLabel="" objType=""/>

When i try to generate a word document i get Error 1617 and the file is never created.

I would really like not to have to screen shot each difference...

Any help on this would be great!

I've only used LVCompare in a "hands-on" mode, doing the viewing myself and making notes (with pen and paper) on which versions were correct and why.  I never thought that this could be automated to save images ...

http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361M-01/lvdialog/differences_dialog_box/

Shows the Create Report Button and references:

http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361M-01/lvdialog/create_report_db/

The Webpage option states:

Report Type—Specifies the type of comparison report you want to create. You can select one of the following types:

  • Web Page—Creates a web page report. LabVIEW saves the report as a .xml document along with a folder that contains all screenshots (.png) and an XML stylesheet (.xsl). You can use the web browser on your machine to open the report.

Its in the documentation 🙂

Did you ever solve the issue of missing images? I have the same issue.
