Is there any way to specify the output update rate of a DAQ Assistant freaquency task?

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into that. However at first clange I do not see any parameter in that VI that would directly affect the update rate of the output.

Hi Aleksi,

well, Min/MaxFrequency will also influence the aquisition time…

How do you want detect frequencies as low as 2Hz in just a millisecond?

Best regards,
GerdW

We'll I'm using an incremental rotational speed sensor with 2048 pulses/rev. What would be a reasonable range then? I am expecting about 0-4000rpm which means about 0-136 000Hz.

Hi Aleksi,

usually you limit the range to e.g. 40-4000rpm.

If you really need to detect very low speeds too you need to (or should) split your measurement in two cases…

Best regards,
GerdW
