Invalid image type ROI to Mask VI

Hi,

I'm working with ROI to Mask VI and i got this "invalid image type" error.

My image is PNG, 16-bit and grayscale?! (i used Image to array to check and it seems like all array elements are solid value)

Here's my VI and a txt file for coordination since my ROI is freehand and the points are programatically updated from this txt file.

What i'm trying to do is to calculate the total intensity value of the region inside the ROI through creating a mask from this ROI and setting all the external pixel value to 0.

I guess mask is an 8 bit image, so you need a new image of the same size as 16 bit file image
