Howto find which DAX is connected

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

My company bought another DAQmx USB-6225 M-Series and now I have encontered a small problem. My old device is listed as Dev1 in MAX and the new one is listed as Dev2. In some of my programs I have used the Daq assistant which is now refusing to do anything because I have connected Dev2 instead of Dev1. I realize I have to pass the reference of the correct device. How can I tell which of the devices is connected to my computer with LabVIEW? So that I can pass the correct reference.

Regards,
Even

I use this to get the name of whichever DAQ is connected, assuming you only have one plugged in at a time.

That's perfect. There will only be one device connected at a time.
