How to store a file path in a TDMS Property

Solved!

Thanks, David! I'll bet that when I read that other post I mistook the set of banned property names as the set of banned property values.

And Mike...what the %#@&? Put the coffee down and go for a walk.

Now that I'm back in the office and just to be thorough I went ahead and wrote a string of all the forbidden symbols, i.e. .:,;'\@<>#[]%(){}|*?=!"^$&+-/ as a TDMS property value. I then opened the TDMS file in DIAdem (2012). Worked fine.

Best Regards

David
