How to name columns when writing to a file

That really depends on the format in which you save. If you're using Write to Spreadsheet File, you can find instructions on its diagram for how to change it to write text files (don't overwrite the original VI).

If not, I suggest you post your VI and write some more details about your format.

Take a look at the example in the LabVIEW Help for Write LabVIEW Measurement File. It will show you a example that saves lots of information, headers, etc.

My program is running.  I am using the Write LabVIEW Measurement File the express VI.  My numerical data is sent to a Microsoft Excel Sheet in columns, but how do I name each column in spread sheet.  It seems that the Write LabVIEW Measurement File only accepts numerical values.
