Hi im a electronics and instrumentation engineering student i only know about labview basics... I need to know about how to filter particular range of frequency or spectrum of sound from an audio signal.... Please tell me

you should use a suitable filter function. LabVIEW comes with a lot of them!

If you want to do this yourself using LabVIEW, learn a bit more than "the LabVIEW Basics".  There are excellent tutorials on-line, but you do have to make some commitment in Time and Effort.
