I received my activation number for LabVIEW 11 Student Edition by email for participating in an online lecture and solving a problem.

In the email there was no link to download the software.

Where can I find a download link for LabVIEW 11 Student Edition for OS X?

Choose option: Student ndergraduate, and after that option Mac OS and Linux Development Suite . Here you can download 2011 version (579 MB).

Hi! I have got the same problem. I got the license for 2012 student version and if I do:

"Choose option: Student ndergraduate, and after that option Mac OS and Linux Development Suite"

there is only one link for 2012 version and it is starting download the evaluation version which I cannot activate. 

Please help me.

Hi,

I will try to go through it with you and I believe we will find a solution.

The 2011 version of LabVIEW for OS X is no longer available from this link, a new version was released in the meantime. First I'd like to try to get a new version to you. Can you please check whether you can't get the serial number for the new version as well? Usually these student versions are available for free.

In the worst case I will upload you the old installer on the FTP.

Problem here is:

If you buy the Student Version no one asks which OS you have, you just get the Download to the Eval version.
And as you can't activate on Mac OS this option won't work for you.
So unfortunately the only option is to call NI Support, validate the Serial you get when buying LV and ask

for a download Link to the full version.

As I wrote, I have got serial number for the 2012 version, but the problem is described in the post above: there is no download link to the student version for OS X, only evaluation version, which has not got the activation option.

Yes, that's why you should contact your local NI Support, maybe they will give you a Link with your valid S/N (via FTP)
