How to access Remote VST Targets Across Networks

As the RIO device ca access remotly but how to access VST 5644R  target across network?

Hi mmdhadwe,

This kind of depends, is your VST inside a Realtime PXIe or a Window$ one? If it's an RT one you can access it quite easily through MAX and then adding it's IP address to  project. If it's a Windows one I guess it depends what you're trying to do, but you could just remote desktop to the PXI?

I am trying to generate pulse data using sample example in labview.

I am using VST 5644R in PXIe 1085 chassis with PXIe 8135 controller and I want to generate pulse data or any signal remotely in same network.

I guess it depends how deterministic you need the trigger to start the generation to be. I'd start by looking at network published shared variables to start the acquisition. They're not the fastest way to send data over the network but probably one of the easiest. The paper below states how to use them You can access the same variable from a number of different PCs on the same network so this should get you started.
