How do you convert from a visa session of a class to a digital waveform?

I am trying to take in signals from a serial and graph the results.   Currently I am stuck b/c I cannon find a way to convert a visa version of a class to a digital waveform. I am trying to send a visa read function to the dwdt digital signal subset VI which leads to the graphing of the signals.   Does anyone know of a function or technigue to convert my visa output to a digital waveform?

The only thing that a VISA Read outputs is a string and since you have not provided any details on the content or format of the string, it's impossible to say what you need to do to convert it. Attach an actual string output and details on it. You might also mention the make and model of the instrument you are using.
