How do i clear a text file.....

Hi All...

I wud like to know how to clear a text file....

Currently am replacing the text file and writing...Actually i need to open the  file(after clearing the contents)and write.

I think replacing the file each time is not a good idea...

So please let me know how to clear the text file.

I didnt post it there bse its not completely related to that...There i was not didcussing about clearing text file...U cud find the difference i think....

You can set the file size to zero using "Set File Size" from the advanced file io palette.
