How do I set the VISA resource name as a constant ?

I am successfully communicating with a serial device using ModBus. The pull-down list on the front panel correctly shows COM3. I would like to remove the pull-down list and set COM3 as the default on the block diagram. Can anyone tell me how to do that please ? Many thanks,

Hi,

Right click on that pull down list and then select change to constant... 

So u can see constant name of Visa on Block diagram and no need to pull down...
