How do I disable Graph legend for text entry from user?

Solved!
Go to solution

Dear friends!

I need your help in the following matter.

My front panel has a graph whose plot legend is visible. I programmatically show text into it at run time, depending on the item that user selects from a ring control. The problem is that user can also enter text (at run time) into the same area. Is there a way to prevent user from entring text into plot legend text area at run time? I need both the graph and the plot legend enabled at run time. Please suggest solutions.

Thanks a lot!

Have a very pleasant day!

Try putting a picture control over the top of the graph legend and when the user tries to click the plot name it will prevent the text entry

you could also toggle the visible property of the picture control to allow text entry in an admin mode
