How do I configure BNC 2090 to use it on LabVIEW?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello everyone,

I'm new to NI products, and I have been trying to use the BNC 2090 connected to a PCI 6036E for data acquisition on LabVIEW. However, I can't still find the way to add this device (2090) to my "Devices and Interfaces" list on NI MAX. As far as I understand, this step is needed in order to assign pins and start acquiring data from the BNC 2090 channels on LabVIEW.

Any thoughts? I'd appreciate any help on this matter.

The 2090 is just a dumb terminal block. It does not show as a device. You acquire from the actual DAQ device - the 6036.

Thank you so much. I just started taking measures and all I have to do is to select the pins right away from my DAQ.
