How can i verify the licenced addons/ toolkits installed in Controls palette LabVIEW Environment?

Solved!

Hello ALL,

I have licence for student install version of LABVIEW. I am new to the LabVIEW.
I have installed licence LabVIEW Digital Filter Design Toolkit in my laptop. But i am unable to find the digital filter options under signal processing of the Controls palette. Its not there despite of installation. I have checked in the NI licence Manager it says Digital filter design toolkit has been activated for this computer.
Can someone please help to locate the digital filter options from that particular toolkit? How can i verify the functions in control palette for the toolkit i have installed?

Thank you

Hi,

In Labview 2014 32 bits, it can be found in signal processing->digital filter design.

In Labview 2014 64 bits, I couild not find it either. I know that some toolkits are not supported in LV 64 bit.  I could not find documentation on system requirements for this toolkit so I could not confirm this, perhaps you can change to LV  32 bit?

Good luck,

Danielle

Hey,

Thanks. I had 64-bit LabVIEW.

Now, i have installed 32-bit and checked it, digital filter design option was there. Thank you so much.

For future reference this page has charts that track toolkit compatibility with LabVIEW 32/64 bit:

Hi Craig,

The link you posted doesn't specify compatibility with LabVIEW 32/64 bits, but with Windows 32/64 bit. Is there such a document for LabVIEW versions? For example, I know the data finder toolkit is not supported in LV 2014 64 bit, and we now know the digital filter design isn't supported either.

Thanks,

Danielle

Note how the charts say "Windows 7 64-bit
(Using 32-bit Software)" and "Windows 7 64-bit
(Using 64-bit Software)"

32 bit software corresponds to LabVIEW 32 bit, and 64 bit software corresponds to LabVIEW 64 bit.

So they should demonstrate both windows and LabVIEW bitness compatibility!

Here's another document that links to additional compatibility charts for more versions of Windows:
