I am using a PIC 16F877 and MAX232. I need to relay pressure readings from a 0-5V sensor to labview, but I dont know how to configure the VISA serial part correctly. Is there something I am missing? I tried using MAX to configure my port, but it wont pop up under my devices tab, and I am not given the option to configure a new device. Any help would be much appreciated, as deadlines keep moving, even if I do not : (.
The serial port settings is found on the "Port Settings" tab. It is located at the bottom of the window. In this tab, you can set the "Baud rate", "Data bits", "Parity", etc.

Thanks for the help, but it turns out that our MAX wasnt installed properly in some labs here...so after trying to figure it out for 4 hrs the other day, i change labs, and it takes me 2 minutes. everythings goin smooth now.. thanks alot.
