How can I create a plot from data I have compiled myself?

I would like to effectively enter data points to create a plot (as is done in Excel).  If possible, I would also like to capture and plot new data from a device onto the same plot and move the data to correctly overlap with my previous entered data plot.  Does anyone know how I could accomplish this?

First, you need to start by looking at the examples that ship with LabVIEW. There are lots of examples for plots. There are examples for charts and graphs (waveform and XY). These will show you how to send data to a chart/graph.

Then, please post back with something a bit more specific.

Also, to learn more about LabVIEW it is recommended that you go through the tutorial(s) and look over the material in the NI Developer Zone's Learning Center which provides links to other materials and other tutorials. You can also take the online courses for free.
