Hide end tick labels for xy chart

I would like to hide the end ticks and labels of an xy-chart. In the attached

Here you see an example why I would like to do that:

This is not directly possible because my old idea has not been implemeted yet. Please vote for it. 🙂

(There are of course ugly partial workarounds, sich as covering the end with a decoration)

Yep, thanks, voted for it. 

I experimented with covering them up but didn't like this solution.
