Hex & Reading board VI

Solved!
Go to solution

see attached VI

I've generated a code (6065780000000699) onto a board which i hope this vi will read and confirm is connected, instead i'm getting it read as, 7FFFFFFF which is NaN. therefore wrongfully confirming i've no board attached.

any idea?

Hi dhanna,

try to convert string to num like this:

check.png

Btw. attaching a VI that contains a missing (for us) subVI is pretty senseless…

Hi dhanna,

again: WE CANNOT SEE YOUR SUBVI!

As long as we don't know anything of your subVI we cannot provide any more help!

Best regards,
GerdW

Yes, you attached Untitled 1.vi, but you did not attach connect1.vi

Hi dhanna,

the subVI "array.vi" is missing!

You get an I64 array from this (missing) subVI…

GerdW
