So I think you can easly switch from your large flat sequence to sequence of SubVI linked by error (it's not necessary to check or control the error, simply pass it through the SubVI), in this way you have a linear solution that take less space in the graph editor. You simply have to change each case with a SubVI which wraps the code of the case..
