Graph digitization

Good morning,

I'm currently trying to record the data from a piezoelectric sensor. I use a NI-6008 for that. So basically, when I apply a force to that sensor, there's a displacement of the charge, which can be traduce by a fluctuation of the voltage. My setup works and I can see these fluctuations on my waveform chart. But now I'd like to post process the data. The first step would be to digitize the data from the chart and  the second step, use the saved data  to plot a PSD diagram (Power Spectral Density). How can I do that ?

Thanks,

Thomas.

Dynamic Data Types are kind of rough for this.

Look at the From DDT function and also look at the built in PSD functions.

You can grab the data before you stuff it into the chart.

You may also be able to get the data out of the Chart using a Property Node.

EDIT: You'd want to go to the History Property Node. The Value Property Node is only going to give you the last piece added to the chart.
