I wanted to test the torque parameters of a DC Motor using Magtrol Hysterisis Dynamometer. I am using HD 510-8 Model. I am doing a ramp down ( bringing the motor from free run to 100 RPM) and a ramp up( bringing motor from 100 RPM to free run). I acquire the torque, speed, current of the motor during this course. I wanted to plot the data wrt torque.
Hence i get a hysterisis curve for the motor ramp down up. I need to find the average of the hysterisis curve. I tried using B-spline curve fitting for finding the average. But there are some settings in it , due to which my averaging differes.
I would like to know whether there is any other method to average a hysterisis curve.
