FPGA compile error: Xflow 198, 11, 38

Under LV 8.5, when I compile my FPGA VI, sometimes it works and sometimes not. It might fail the first time, but work the second or third time with no changes to the VI. When it fails, I get the following text in the Compilation Failure dialog box.

Release 9.1.03i Xflow J.33

ERROR:Xflow:38 - Command Line errors... Aborting!
I'm working off a network, and keep my project on a server, if that makes any difference.

Hi Ron,

Thank you for your feedback.  This was reported to R&D (# 46KFLCYZ) for further investigation.  What operating system is the server running?  Would it be possible for you to post a section of your project that exhibits this behavior?

The system is running on Windows 2000. I don't want to post my whole project, and I tried making a smaller project that uses the same FPGA VI, but it compiles with no problem. In the project that doesn't work, it seems like it compiles if the compile server window is open when I start the compile, as it would be if I didn't close it when the previous compile attempt failed.

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the information.  I will add it to the report for R&D.
