FPGA Compilation Fails due to Xilinx Error

Did some more testing and when i;m not using a hybrid solution (Scan Engine and custom FPGA code) but just a custom FPGA the compilation works.

So it seems to be caused by the hybrid mode...

Hey All,

There is a known issue with LV FPGA 2014 and CompactRIO 14.5 for the 903x controlers. Our recommended install is to match your released RIO version to your LV install, until a later compatible release comes out. Typically SP1 release of RIO is not recommended with non-SP1 LabVIEW. It may work just fine but this was one instance where some resources got moved.

If you are using DMA Fifos (scan engine uses 2) in a fpga bitfile and you have mixed software, you will see this compilation error. The fix is to upgrade all software to SP1 or install CompactRIO 14.0.1.
