Sorry, I misunderstood.  I thought you were asking about the index array specifically, not the reason why it was being used.  That requires you to actually understand the nature of the problem you are trying to solve.

Oh, and just so you don't feel too bad... I was once guilty of doing the last thing on the list I provided earlier.  I learned from the forum why it's silly to test the state of a boolean.  😉
