Excel Report capps out at VI (256 columns) in a sheet???? How can I get more? Why does it cap when excel can do more columns?

Solved!

Well I seem to have come across a problem and cantseem to find anythign about it. For some reason it seems that when I append data to excel it capps out if it goes past the 256th colunm which is VI in excel. For some reason the sheet just ends there. But if I manually open an xls document in excel I cn see it goes far beyond this. Can anybody help me fix this issue?

To clarify, I have labview 2013 and the report generation tool kit along with office 2010.

I urgently need to get thi ssorted out as I create large spreadsheet.

Thanks

P.S.

I have attached an xls document to show illustrate the problem. As you can see in sheet 1 and two the spreadsheet is capped at VI. I need it further!!!

also added my code for the xls document

I don't have and LV on this computer but as I remember xls files are limited to 256 column. Have you try saving it as a xlsx file?
