I am trying to build a VI to control a stepper motor test bench. I have a PXIe-8101 Controller tied to a Ethernet network. For a safety controller I have a Banner SC22-3E Safety Controller that if Ethernet capable. I have both controllers on the same subnet.
I am wanting to communicate with the safety controller to get non safety outputs from start and stop buttons on the test bench.
How would I go about this?
Banner does not seem to have any LabView Drivers available?
Are there any good tutorials for communication using Ethernet for LabView?
My knowledge of Ethernet communication is not the greatest.
Thanks,

Hello,
Is your question more or so related to using LabVIEW to communicate with ethernet devices or related to interfacing with the Banner SC22-3E using the PXIe-8101 Controller?
Either way, there are a few resources out there that shed some light on communicating with with ethernet devices using LabVIEW. One of the main methods involves using VISA commands. Please see resources below.
