Error BFFA0000 when initializing the hp3458

I get this error when I use the block initialize of hp3458's driver. How I can fix it?

See if the command(s) being sent by the VI are valid or not.

Since it seems you are using the IVI driver and not the LabVIEW driver, verify you have the latest IVI Compliance Package and also that the dirver is correctly configured in MAX. Also, are you running on a 32-bit OS?

 

If you are using the instrument specific driver, why are you using that instead of the class driver? It does not make much sense to me to use a specific IVI driver instead of the LabVIEW driver.
