How can I create an elegant User Interface in LabVIEW?
Has anybody created his own attractive UI?
Maybe IDE-like?

Hi MG-Programmer,
it depends on what you think what "elegant" is.
You can use "System" Controls.

Elegance is an attitude... 😉
Jokes apart, here are some hints.
Then, the only limit is your imagination.

Thank you for the hint. There are some good style tips.
But I meant an IDE like panel. Maybe with dock panels and an ribbon bar.
Or a more graphical UI where the Controls are not just squares but more like on a homepage.

Four quick tips for better looking front panels:
1. Use bold labels. Always.
2. Make the frames of indicators (such as graphs and charts) transparent.
3. Use a background image. There are hundreds of .png background images on the web. Right-click the bottom scroll bar of your FP and select properties. There you can select another background image.
4. Use system controls wherever possible.

Have a look at the User Interface Interest Group.
