Difficulty getting Sound input configure and sound input to read more than 2 channels

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I am having the same problem, I would like to distinguish between 2 channels, meaning postprocess them differently.

In the Example you have the Continous Sound Input-Example which is to show you the 2 channels of your audio Input on one chart.

My problem is that the USB SOundcard shows only one Channel color for two different Signals Inputs (Squared and Sinus) although physically they are feeded in on 2 different channels. Strange thing is that the displayed output wavform is the sum of both Waveforms....

Any idea what is wrong

Thanks in advance

Well let me have a look at your code. I am compatible up version 2011

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

Hi, I notice you're using an Alesis Multimix.  I am trying to add a Multimix4, but it doesn't appear in the MAX devide list, so I'm guessing it's not plug & play.  Can you please tell me what sort of device you added?  I'm very new to LabView so it's all a bit confusing!  Many tnahks for any help you can offer.

Cheers,

Jonty
