Difference in 60Hz filter response on pt by pt signal and other type

Hello,

I am working on the design of a 60 Hz notch filter, i simulated the signal using pt by pt signal generation and Signal generation vis.

The problem is that with the Signal generation vis the filter works correctly but it doesn't filter the signals gernerated by pt by pt vi.

Thanks for posting at NI forums! I opened the VI and noticed that the output of the pt by pt signal VI is unwired. I’m not really sure what you mean, but if you want to wire this output to the DFD Filtering.vi (as it is for the Array based signal); it will create a broken arrow. The output of the pt by pt signal is a DBL, not an array, which is the input required by the DFD Filtering.vi. Is this what you meant? Could you describe more why is it not working?

I actually connected the output of pt by pt once and then array based signal after disconnecting it.

So if the array based is connected, disconnect it and connect pt by pt signal
