Refer to the section on passing boolean parameters from the KnowledgeBase called "Creating and Calling LabVIEW DLLs with Various Data Types from Microsoft Visual C++".

In case you find the boolean data type too complicated, you can just use an integer instead and have LabVIEW convert using the "Boolean To (0,1)" function.
