Data between peaks

Hey guys,

I would like to get the average value of the signal between (yellow region in the figure) two peaks (or valleys) and export it to a text file. I have a program for finding peaks and valleys but this is bit complicated.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi zezendapuss,

so you already know the location of all those peaks/values!? And you know the width of all those peaks!? You know the location of the "wider gaps" between the valleys!?

Why don't you just select the samples between the valleys?

Best regards,
GerdW

I can see the peaks and the valleys in real-time but i am not able to filter out the data of interested in real-time.

The shown figure is a recording of whole of the signal. What i would like to do now is not to record the whole signal and do the analysis offline but to record only the data between the valleys.

sorry if i am not clear.

Hi zezendapuss,

calculate a running average/stdev (found in the Signal analysis palette).

When the stdev is low: save your samples.

When the stdev is bigger: you just got some peaks…

Best regards,
GerdW
